chapter 3 still one of their best tracks

Just finished listening to this for the first time ever because I am seeing them perform it next week. Really pumped about it. Should be a pretty sweet full album experience.

Yeah the demos slay this, imo. The tempo changes, extra cleans and gimmick stuff really takes the intensity out of those original 3 tracks, even if the musicianship and recording is technically "better".

I just saw them perform this last night with number twelve and it was one of the best shows of my life.

Their vocals are awful live. Had a blast at their show though and jeez do they really rip instrumentally. But christ. The vocals are toast.

Yeah, I noticed that too but it didn't detract that much from the show for me. Harsh vox were ok, cleans really started to falter at the end of the show. In their defense, yesterday was the last date of their tour and most bands I see at the tail end never have as much energy as the start.

They held their own with #12 fwiw who are one of the best live bands I've seen. I can only speculate if Thomas still drinks but I know Jesse is straight edge so idk if they'd tour together if he still had problems like that.

They were playing with heavy heavy low low on earlier dates but they dropped out pretty early. I had rhododendron and aviations who were both pretty fun too.
