I think both of what they were saying about each other is nore likely true than not. There's always going to be hyperbole in rap but considering what we know about drake, the pedo accusation is there for a reason. I'm thinking drake put out the family drama to distract from the allegations, something he himself has been really peculiar talking about (remember the first thing he mentioned after hearing the song was not having a daughter, I think it reflects his priorities personally.)
I can also see the kdot drama of being a woman beater being true, it matches up with the thematic themes of his last album, it makes sense they wouldn't be seeing each other now, and all of it being because the kid he's raising isn't his. I think it's actually a sore subject for him because he likes his personal life private and having it out in the open really sets him off.
Realistically this beef has been a massive deal for both of the artists and I think will be pivotal for how it's going to affect them in the coming years in a big way. The only winner is Cole, he knew how these things turn out.

and for the record i completely agree with the majority of your takes but as someone who grew up with like 50 cent getting shot 9 times idk where you were really expecting this to go. either way i still don't see much value of either of these people being proven a piece of shit, on a strictly competition level one created more buzz than the other. people are being shocked someone got shot at but at the same time asking for someones collapse, idk what to tell you. people seem to think this beef has to conclude the same way as pusha-t's annd tbh all beefs have their own stories and ramifications, like what did nas really say on ether other than jay-zs a fan and his labels gay.
