So what did he do in the band exactly?

He organizes Aaron's snack trailer. It's a full time job.

Me thinks Chris may be stealing some snacks from the trailer.

Band soldout, they uprooted their christianity, even as a non-theist i saw value in that. now they’re just another bmth

Band should've stayed broken up. They wouldn't have tarnished their legacy like they're still doing as we speak.

Disambiguation was the perfect final album and Sunburnt and Unsound the perfect final two songs to go out on

i think some of these guys are still christian. they just arent all christian so they dont label themselves as a christian band anymore, i guess as a way of giving themselves permission to use fuck in their music now with 2012 green day levels of liberality. james i think was the most religious tho so they're down one now

spencer was also not christian anymore by the time of disambig if not earlier

Actually it was a schism which started with disambiguation, which was Spencer’s struggle with his faith snd alcoholism (the album), he basically gave up after that

“name a christian band that turned their back on the lord that was better after. you can't!”

Name one that was Christian, turned their back, and then came back. Your move Underoath

“use fuck in their music now with 2012 green day levels of liberality”

Underrated analogy 👏🏻
