Bassist Michelle Hayes was introduced to the band after doing volunteer work at a morgue where Dr. Morton Fairbanks worked, after receiving a DUI charge. The band recorded the EP "Fetid Putrescent Whiffs" and followed up with their debut LP "Forensic Fugues and Medicolegal Medleys" on Razorback Records. Not long after releasing the album, Michelle Hayes left the band to continue her medical school studies. She was replaced by colleague Dr. Guy Radcliffe, who originally only played bass in a Jazz / Blues setting, and had never listened to Carcass or Death Metal. The current line-up went on to record a split LP, an EP, and a second full-length album, "Olidous Operettas." The band uses pseudonyms to avoid backlash caused by hospital administrators discovering their employees playing this type of music. Coupled with the fact that the band has very little time to record albums, much less play live shows, the true identities of the band members, as well as any former bands they might have played with, is up to fan debate. The band's second full length album has a "scratch and sniff" CD face smelling of rotten meat. « hide
